When the Buddha wrote that "life is suffering," the sanskrit word he used was "dukkha." This kind of suffering is not the intense pain of abuse or anguish but more about how we all wrestle day in and day out with the fundamental unsatisfactoriness of a mundane life.

Dukkha - quite literally - is "the name of the game!"

We haven't decided how to play, but we keep making suits

What is something you want to bring your attention to? Divide that topic into 13 parts, and rank them from Ace through King. Then put each one on a card (we recommend the back of cereal boxes, cut up into 2x3 inch cards) and make a suit that suits you. Bring your suit to a Dukkha party and learn (and invent) how to play the game.
